Art Show March - Walter VonEgidy and his Friends with “Pink Custard on Black Velvet”.  An exhibit of paintings and sculpture. Join the artists for a reception on Saturday, March 6th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. For more information, visit our Art Blog.

Folk Art Series:
Thomas Chambers 1808-1869
Friday, March 19th at 7:00. Join us as Deborah Ash, local resident and American Folk Art Museum docent emeritus, discusses Thomas Chambers, British born painter of American Marine and Landscapes. Free and open to all. Sponsored by the Friends of the Burnham Library.

  On February 18th, our library participated in Snapshot Day: One Day in the Life of Connecticut Libraries. Snapshot Day is a joint project of the Connecticut Library Association, the Connecticut State Library and the Connecticut Library Consortium. Beginning March 10th, the results will be posted. See if your comment or picture made the cut!
