Situated between Massachusetts & New York, both hotbeds of activity during the American Revolution, Connecticut’s role in the war is often overlooked.  Using the state’s memorials, statues, & landmarks as touchstones, Richard Franklin Donohue will explore how the people of Connecticut participated in the movement toward independence and how these events have been remembered for 250 years.
