Tech-Help Series: How To Use Your Computer And Organize Your Files
October 16, 2021 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am
How To Use Your Computer and Organize Your Files
Most people use their computers for email and the Web – but do not venture further, or organize their files. This interactive lecture will concentrate on your computer’s built-in methods to help you organize and locate your files. Tech tutor Michael Jay will empower you to take control of (and re-name) what you create and download, including your photos.
Whether you’re a new user, or are already comfortable with your computer, this easy, non-technical class will also reveal many features you may not know of, give you some tips that can help you get the most out of your device, and show you the solutions to the most common mistakes made by newer users. And, of course, we’ll try to answer your questions.
Although this session will feature a Mac, and will be geared predominantly towards Apple’s system, the general concepts and techniques are applicable to any computer, and this should be a valuable experience for PC users, as well. No, really.
Let a former Apple Store specialist and technology tutor with years of experience show you the core functions you should know, and the shortcuts that might otherwise take months to discover on your own.
Be sure to bring your laptop to this class. (Those with a desktop at home are welcome, and can still learn plenty as we view live projections from a computer during the class.) __________________________
