The Friends of the Burnham Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer membership organization dedicated to supporting the activities and mission of the Burnham Library. The Friends provide funding for programs, museum passes, equipment, and services that would not be available through the library’s operational budget.
Mission Statement
The Purpose of the Friends of the Burnham Library is to stimulate public use of the library, provide financial assistance to the library, and sponsor programs for all members of the community.
We welcome your participation as we plan future events for the benefit of the library. If you enjoy meeting new people and you like the idea of helping your library community (and by extension, the town in which you live), the Friends group invites you to join us.
To become a Friend, contact the library or email friends@burnhamlibrary.org
Membership Information
Membership dues paid to the Friends are distinct from contributions to the Library’s Annual Appeal. Friends’ membership dues provide funding for programs, museum passes, equipment, and services that would not be available through the library’s operational budget.
