We will also celebrate the publication of the final book in the Mercy Watson series! \nMercy is selfish and impulsive\, but no matter how much trouble she gets in\, Mr. and Mrs. Watson continue to love her and see her in the best possible light. She served as the 2014-2015 National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature\, appointed by the Library of Congress. Several of her books have been turned into movies\, and one was even adapted as an opera. She grew up in Florida and currently lives in Minnesota. \n
