Preschool Storytime 

Burnham Bunch Storytime returns! Join us for our school year storytime and activity for children 2-5 years old. Younger siblings are welcome to listen and play and are not required to register. Thursday or Wednesday morning sessions from 10:30 – 11:00. Fall/Winter storytime runs September – December. Registration begins August 11th and will be ongoing until the four-month session is full. Please call the library for additional details. 

The Read Abouts  – Story-sharing and craft for Kindergarten - 1st Grade. Join us for some after-school fun! One Wednesday a month from 3:30 – 4:00.

GoGo Green Crafting Club – Eco-crafting for Grades 2-5. What do your closet, garbage can, and backyard have in common? They are all places you can find supplies to create cool and unique crafts. One Wednesday a month from 3:15 – 4:00.

  Unnamed and Untamed Readers  – Book discussion group for girls Grades 3-5. Were you part of our fun discussion group last year? Or have you heard about us and want to find out what we are all about? Well, join me for a meet & greet on Tuesday, September 14th from 3:15 – 4:00. NEW PERMISSION SLIP REQUIREMENT!

Chess Club returns Thursday, September 16th. For beginner to advanced chess players, Kindergarten – Grade 5. Registration not required.

NEW PERMISSION SLIP REQUIREMENTS FOR AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

All Burnham students who register for after-school library programs must complete a library generated permission slip, in order to give us permission to escort students from school to the library. After registering for a program, the permission slip must be returned to the Burnham School on or before the date of library program. Chess Club participants have a one-time library generated permission slip. It is the parents responsibility to inform the school office if your child will not be attending a specific Thursday.
